New courses and certification updates from AWS Training and Certification in June 2025

Welcome to June’s post announcing new training course launches and certification launches—helping equip you and your teams with the skills to work with AWS services and solutions.

This month, we launched 20 new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder including 8 new AWS Builder Labs, 1 new Digital Classroom course, a new no-cost, game-based recertification option for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, as well as additional language availability for Exam Prep materials in support of AWS Certified AI Practitioner and AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer Associate certification exams.

New AWS Skill Builder subscription features

AWS Skill Builder subscriptions are available globally and unlock enhanced AWS Certification exam prep and hands-on AWS Cloud training including interactive learning and lab experiences like AWS Cloud Quest, AWS Industry Quest, AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Jam challenges. AWS Digital Classroom courses dive deep with expert instruction and are available with Individual annual subscription and Team subscription.

AWS Builder Labs help you learn cloud skills, hands-on, with practice in the AWS Management Console. Learn at your own pace with hundreds of AWS Builder Labs, available with an AWS Skill Builder Individual subscription and Team subscription.

AWS Digital Classroom

AWS Digital Classroom courses combine the depth of live classroom training with the convenience of digital learning. They provide comprehensive knowledge and skills enablement through recordings of expert instructors, demonstrations, hands-on labs, knowledge checks, and assessments. Enjoy flexibility in time, location, and pace, along with the ability to pause, rewind, and revisit content. AWS Digital Classroom is available as part of AWS Skill Builder Individual subscription and Team subscription. This month, we launched the following AWS Digital Classroom courses:

AWS Certification exam preparation and updates

Certification

AWS Cloud Quest: Recertify Cloud Practitioner, a game-based recertification* option available to you at no cost, is now generally available. Individuals who have six months or fewer until the expiration date of their AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner status qualify to use this guided, self-paced recertification option on AWS Skill Builder. This innovative approach offers significant advantages: learn through hands-on scenarios with self-paced gameplay in an engaging learning environment. Once all challenges are completed, individuals are recertified as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioners for another three years from the date of completion. This option is now available in English, Japanese, Korean, French, and Portuguese (Brazil).

*Existing exam-based options to recertify for any of the AWS Certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, are still available to you, depending on your circumstances and preference.

Exam prep

Prepare for AWS Certification exams with confidence. Sign in to AWS Skill Builder to enroll in an Exam Prep Plan. Each plan includes free content such as practice question sets and enhanced content, via subscription, like official practice exams, self-paced labs, and game-based learning.

This month, we launched the following AWS Certification exam prep materials:

• Exam Prep Official Practice Exam: AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) is now available in English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, and Portuguese (Brazil).
• Exam Prep Official Practice Exam: AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate (MLA-C01) is now available in English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
