New courses and certification updates from AWS Training and Certification in April 2026

This month, we launched multiple new digital training products on AWS Skill Builder including localized exam prep materials in support of the Security – Specialty Exam. You’ll also want to check out the exciting announcement about microcredentials.

AWS Card Clash

We’re excited to announce AWS Card Clash Mobile App for Android products!

AWS Card Clash is now generally available as a mobile app for Android devices in English, Japanese, Spanish LATAM, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean!

AWS Card Clash is a free-to-play 3D turn-based card game designed to transform how you learn to build AWS solutions. Whether you’re starting your tech career, changing professional paths, or fine-tuning your AWS expertise, AWS Card Clash turns complex cloud concepts into an enjoyable learning experience that helps you become familiar with AWS services and solution design concepts, one card at a time.  

New AWS Skill Builder subscription features 

AWS Skill Builder subscriptions are available globally and unlock enhanced AWS Certification exam prep and hands-on AWS Cloud training including interactive learning and lab experiences like AWS Cloud Quest, AWS Industry Quest, AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Jam challenges. AWS Digital Classroom courses dive deep with expert instruction and are available with Individual annual subscription and Team subscription.

AWS Builder Labs help you learn cloud skills, hands-on, with practice in the AWS Management Console.

AWS Certification exam preparation and updates 

Exam prep 

Prepare for AWS Certification exams with confidence, following 4-step plans on AWS Skill Builder. Each plan includes free content such as practice question sets and Domain Review courses, plus enhanced subscription content like official practice exams, Domain Practice courses, and AWS SimuLearn. 

This month, we launched the following AWS Certification exam prep materials: 

• Exam Prep Plan Security – Specialty (SCS-C03) is now available in Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America), and Simplified Chinese 

 Microcredentials 

AWS Training & Certification is excited to announce that microcredentials are now accessible to everyone — no AWS Skill Builder subscription required! Launched in November 2025, microcredentials are a rigorous hands-on assessment on AWS Skill Builder. Now, every builder can prove their real-world AWS skills at no cost!
