New AWS Skill Builder subscription features
AWS Skill Builder subscriptions are available globally and unlock enhanced AWS Certification exam prep and hands-on AWS Cloud training including interactive learning and lab experiences like AWS Cloud Quest, AWS Industry Quest, AWS Builder Labs, and AWS Jam challenges. AWS Digital Classroom courses dive deep with expert instruction and are available with Individual annual subscription and Team subscription.

For learners looking to develop hands-on AWS skills exactly when they need them, AWS Skill Builder now offers Lab Maker—a powerful new AI-powered feature that generates instant, personalized labs for popular AWS services. Simply describe what you want to build in natural language, and Lab Maker generates step-by-step guided instructions, overlaid directly in a simulated AWS Management Console, helping you build practical cloud and AI skills at the moment you need them.

Exam Prep
Prepare for AWS Certification exams with confidence, following 4-step plans on AWS Skill Builder. Each plan includes free content such as practice question sets and Domain Review courses, plus enhanced subscription content like official practice exams, Domain Practice courses, and AWS SimuLearn.
This month, we launched the following AWS Certification exam prep materials:
- Exam Prep Plan: AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional (AIP-C01) is now available in Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese
Microcredentials
Microcredentials are FREE, hands-on assessments that place builders in simulated business scenarios and ask them to solve real challenges directly in a provisioned AWS environment. There are no multiple-choice questions. Builders configure, troubleshoot, and optimize in a live environment, the same way they would on the job.
Today, we’re announcing updates to our microcredentials portfolio in some of the most in-demand AI/ML skill areas:
- New! AWS MLOps Demonstrated – validates ability to use Amazon SageMaker AI to deploy foundation models and fine-tune ML models, run inference, configure observability, and scale applications.
